Tyler Chapman serves as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer at Allodium Investment Consultants. In this position, Tyler oversees and manages the ongoing operations and compliance of the firm. He also chairs the Executive Committee, leads Allodium’s company meetings, and serves on the Employee Committee.

Before coming to Allodium in 2013, Tyler served as the senior admission fellow in Amherst’s admission office, where he guided high school students in their college search, hired and managed student workers, and reviewed applications to the college alongside other deans. He also worked with the Telementoring Program, a nonprofit that assists first generation students in applying to colleges.

Tyler earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and music as a double major from Amherst College in Massachusetts.

Tyler lives in Bloomington with his wife Jill and son Parker. Being a small town Minnesota native, Tyler enjoys being near his large family—parents, siblings, and many nieces and nephews, who have been growing quickly in both age and number.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys all types of music, contributing to theater productions and volunteering at the Guthrie Theater. He also enjoys exploring the great outdoors, camping and fishing. In addition, he has served as a financial advocate and helped develop a financial coaching program for Prepare & Prosper, a nonprofit that helps families move out of poverty.
