Saul Baumann is a senior wealth advisor and shareholder at Allodium Investment Consultants. He serves as a financial planning specialist, identifying and implementing strategies and comprehensive financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. He chairs the Financial Planning Committee and serves on the Investment and Fiduciary Consulting Committees.

Saul came to Allodium with over eight years of experience in financial planning and investment consulting roles in Twin Cities firms. Saul is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor through the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), a professional association of fee-only advisors with high standards of professional competency and client-centric financial planning.

Saul spent a year at Colorado College, before transferring to and earning a bachelor’s degree at Carleton College. Saul is a CFP^® professional having obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® certification sponsored by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. To further his professional development and to better serve clients, he has also been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® (AIF^®) Designation, sponsored by the Center for Fiduciary Studies.

Away from work, you’ll find Saul enjoying time with his wife, Khara, and their daughter, Brielle. They live on a family hobby farm in the western suburbs, where they enjoy the outdoors and maintain a large vegetable garden. The garden supports Saul’s passion for cooking and growing heirloom vegetables. Saul is a lifelong learner and pursues studying his many passions, currently including mushroom hunting and milling different varieties of wheat for baking bread and making pasta. He was a Master Gardener for several years, volunteering to help other gardeners with their toughest issues. Saul has been a downhill ski racing coach and enjoys other outdoor activities, including canoeing, camping, and photography.

Saul serves on the Investment Committee of the Catholic Charities Twin Cities, which works to alleviate poverty and homelessness. He is also on the Board of the Minnesota Mycological Society, where he serves as the chair of the Scholarship Committee.
